About FCC
We are a small monthly meet held in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for mostly in-person meetups and technical talks.
Our aim of running FCC is that we are a club that is run apart from a given corporate tech culture. We feel it's important for third-spaces in technology, and want to inspire people to be in groups with folks from other disciplines.
With this in mind, we hope to provide interesting ways people can think about computing outside of monopoly frameworks, or even just their own peronsal day-to-day work.
You should feel inspired by computing culture. Make scripts, try hackathons and understand the soft/hardware you own. Contribute to the ecosystem yourself. Let's create new things!
If you feel isolated or on the fringes of technology, this is a space for you to come and help us make a new space together in tech.
